I know it might be hard to quantify but what noticeable improvements would I see in my ST?

I'm farming baze to 4* and putting shoretrooper from 3* to 4* from the but that's it

Yeah, I'm guessing it's mostly protection he gains (when using all 4 protection mods), it adds up. I honestly couldn't tell you off hand exactly what the difference is, except that I'll mow a 3* down while a 4* needs to be considered. Also keep his speed at base so he keeps his taunt longer. Chances are he'll be ability or buff blocked before he gets his turn & he won't regain taunt as a result.

Strength, agility, & tactics are the 3 stats that are affected when adding a *. Those raise health and armor, physical critical rating and armor, & physical/special damage and resistance. I don't know how large the increases are though.

Edit: mine has 19,704hp unmodded at 4* g9 with all the +hp pieces equipped for that rank. If anyone has a 3* at g9 we could compare.

Yeah I know the stats affected, was trying to quantify the actual difference tho. It may seem like a slight increase in something only to see it has a larger impact once you factor mods in. I used the 4 protection mods as an example because when you use all 4 it has a tremendous impact, where's 1 protection out of the 4 possible can be kinda meh. I just don't feel like looking up the actual numbers but if anyone does I'd be interested to know.

Edit: I'm quite sure it's the strength stat, I'm just not sure of the actual number increase

One thing missing from your calculations.... time.

With decent arena placement, and a little time you can unlock him for free.....the only thing money gets you is less time. (And a better mod selection)

Since he is viable at 4* and you can grind the gear, you are all set and have your own shiny new baze.

As ftp if you get 1st every day, it'll take a maximum of 75 days to 7* him...pending the shards show up.

Also there's no reason to go for Shore unless you're close to a star or something. Baze is better in every single way.

Just unlocked rex, finally got him to g8 and i for one really liked the tournaments....i got a 5* shoretrooper, 5* (almost 6*) jyn and unlocked cassian/vader tf at 4*...

I think the tournaments got canned and so much hate is because it put to much pressure on big spenders by f2p gaining access to stuff they previously would never have had access to... not to mention the time commitment and monotonous grind of it.

But overall the tournaments gave p2p a taste of how close f2p could nip there heels.

So yeah back to the slow grind on rex....i doubt jyn or cassian will be available anytime soon. So im stuck with em at 4/5* but unless the p2p competed HARDCORE so are they, and in time it will show.

I for one still think EA made great decision with tournaments as the exclusives introduced...if and when they are available again...I'll actually spend...at least to get my jyn to 6* and cassian to 6*. Smart move by EA...they set it up give f2p a taste, and now i want more...
