Sifo-Dyas has yet to be officially playable in any Star Wars game so this would be a first.
An unprecedented move, just like adding Darth Nihilus, GBA, Dark Rey, Mara Jade and Doctor Aphra to the roster
SWGOH was definitely the first time Nihilus and GBA were officially playable.
Not however for Dark Rey (first playable in LEGO Skywalker Saga), Mara Jade (first playable in Masters of Teräs Käsi), and Aphra (first playable in Force Arena).
The reasons they're unprecedented is because they opened the door for the following:
- Darth Nihilus opened the door for Old Republic Sith
- Geonosian Brood Alpha opened the door for original characters
- Mara Jade opened the door for Expanded Universe characters
- Doctor Aphra opened the door for modern literature (from comics and books) characters
- Dark Rey opened the door for 'What If' characters
