Disney (or possibly the actress playing rey, can't quite remember) have already explicitly stated that rey's parents ARE NOT in episode 7 so it's none of the above actually

I don't know about Palpatine, but I like the idea of her parents being connected to the Empire. They left her behind because they new they were going down. Not sure if it fits the established timeline though.

My response to you was to point out that what you said based on the actual rules of the burden of proof could only be true if your words were interpreted this way. Otherwise there was an inherent contradiction in them.

Maybe I was out of line to say you misinterpreted my words, it would have been more apt to say that your response was based on a misunderstanding of the concept of burden of proof (one that most people who are aware of the concept labor under), but I didn't misinterpret your words. I interpreted them the only way they logically could be given the circumstances.

I agree, it gives them creative license to stick a lightsaber in anyone's hand and to hand out the force like candy. It takes away what makes them unique and magical in this time period IMO.

well to add more to this thread, I thought I saw a sith tag on kylo when all reworks on FO and himself, but checked the next day and he didn't have it, so yeah I'd say I misread it but could it be that he had it like for a day between updates and reworks and OP was so unlucky to see it once and decide to build a team around it ^_^
I don't really care if he had it or not, but funny to see that there is at least another 2 people that say they might've seen it ^_^

PS: ou remember late September or so that we had a couple of days of terrible server down times and reboots, I thought I'd seen it then, but well I have 330 shards for my kylo and not bothered unlocking him yet, too much else to do

I know I'm not sure, but well no one will ever post a daily screenshot from kylo to proof he never had sith tag ^_^ same as no one can ever post he ever once had it ^_^

Who indicated that? Lightsabers have always been able to be used by others. Finn used the lightsaber before Rey did. Are you advocating the rumor that Leia and Lando got together while Han was off in the galaxy?
