Sith Trooper not an imperial trooper?

The Sith Trooper is from the era of the old republic thousands of years before the Empire therefore yes he will not and should not get the imperial trooper tag

I guess you haven't payed KOTOR or any other old republic game.
The empire was formed after/during revenge of the sith. Sith troopers were around thousands of years before The Phantom Menace, as soldiers for the sith army.

To be fair, everyone, the Sith Trooper is a member of the Sith Empire. In their day, they were the Imperials.
