Sniping GAC rewards

Allow me to explain myself more clearly, and more personally.
Without trying to turn this into a sympathy session, I don’t win a lot in life. Most of my achievements are superficial - like doing well in a game. Owing to this, I feel losses more acutely than another person might within these areas I find my wins.
So when I feel like it’s over, and suddenly my opponent swoops in to claim victory, I feel strongly about it. Is it healthy? Ehhhh…maybe not. Is it fair? Probably not. Yet the way my head works, I get hung up on things like this.
Give it a couple days and it’ll filter out my system. Water under the bridge, move on, forget it, et cetera. I’ll keep playing, I won’t obsess over it for more than a few days. Perhaps I can put it down to the initial rebuttal, and then felt the need to defend my corner, perhaps at the expense of some human sympathy or trying to understand their side.
I know my life isn’t the same as theirs. I know there are lots of explanations besides malicious intent. I’m at the point now where I simply don’t care about it anymore and wish to move on.
Thank you all for the replies, setting me on straight, and engaging rationally. Mostly.
TLDR; my head works weird, I react more keenly but move on quickly, and I have a somewhat questionable drive for in-game success.
Edit: Now may people please leave this thread to die? It's all very tiresome watching people say the same thing over and over again that's already sunk in
