I've been playing freemium games since the 90s. They're nothing new. The ones that last more than a couple of years actually allow free players to be competitive. This game requires you to have 300 crystals a day (or money) to be competitive. That's where the base line should be.

I don't know what you're experience is in this game, but I've seen more people quit than join it.
