It s because some empire troopers rework or new empire toon is coming soon.You will run them with Vader and that squad will be new metaLast year same thing happened with GG rework first and then sep droids rework came

Last month was CWC. I thought that that would have given you a clue as to how useful these shards usually are.

For me the last time they gave me something I didn't have at 7* was Sith Marauder in March of 2019.
