Strange censorship

It's the up part that's blocked right? Kinda wanna go check and see if moist or throb are trouble words too. That's kinda next level though, if you have hang ups about the word penetrate or any of its variations (penetrating, penetration, penetrated) that is a you problem. If it's not on the list of commonly accepted courses it probably shouldn't be censored. But words we don't like and problematic language seems to have penetrated the moist throbbing consciousness of society.

@KausDebonair this star wars character's name first name is also an not well know acronym for a 4 word saying that encourages violence against females so that's offensive to some people. The acronym isn't very well known at all but a few people know what it could mean if they turn it into an acronym and make words from each letter of the initial word.

The censored word filter is programmed by someone, it's automated, but someone had to set it up. Devs also in California where the acronym started I think... Not sure... I've never heard the anronym said in real life or even written anywhere but the full saying is said in rap songs and urban life. If you Google acronym for this characters first name you will find the association.

This seems like the only logical reason why they banned the name in chat. very woke of them to have this heightened level of awareness about acronyms.

I'm somewhat worried Yoda, Luke, Vader, Star Wars, Sith, Jedi, could all be in danger if someone comes up with an acronym for any of these words that is more offensive than the first name of Mr Frik.

Just searched for it and not finding anything, unless you're referring to Bring About Better Understanding... which seems unlikely.

So if your theory is correct... then that's some serious BS.

Trying to find censored things to state them is not a good practice, when they also violate the Forum Guidelines.

Strange words being blocked in game happens. If it's an issue, you can always try to report it as such to Answers HQ.
