Greetings Heroes!

Do you have a tip or trick for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes that you have always wanted to share but didn’t have a place to post it? Well now there is a dedicated post for it!

This post is THE place to share tips & tricks that you may have. These can be for any game mode, it isn’t limited to any specific one. Also try to keep the tip or trick short, only 1-2 sentences are needed, I’m not looking for guides :smile:

Each week I will be going through the posts here to choose a top tip or trick of the week. This post will be shared in my weekly update and possibly on the official EA Star Wars Twitter page!

To keep things consistent, there is a format that I’ll need everyone to follow when posting a tip or trick, failure to follow this format could lead to your post being removed.

Here is a sample tip:

Title: Dispelling buffs with Asajj Ventress
Game Mode: Arena
Tip: When facing a squad that includes Poggle the Lesser, wait until he uses Droid Assault before using Asajj Ventress’ Strike Fear ability to remove the Offense Up buff from his entire squad.

FYI this thread may be cleared out from time to time in order to prevent it from getting too long, I'll archive the old posts. Now, share those tips & tricks!

    Title: Kylo Ren's retribution
    Game Mode: All
    Tip or Trick text: If your QGJ wants to receive offense up from debuffing Kylo Ren's retribution, be sure your QGJ is enough healled. You can debuffing retribution , receive offense up for your team, and Kylo Ren will counter your QGJ without retribution. It will work as long as the game will change bugged damage calculating system , where damage is calculating before buffing/debuffing.

    Title: No offense up if target killed
    Game Mode: All
    Tip or Trick text: If you want offense up for your team using QGJ's third ability, select only buffed opponent with enough health. If you kill him , you will have no chance for offense up. It will work as long as the game will change bugged damage calculating system , where the damage is calculating before buffing/debuffing.

    Title: Calculate number of advantages
    Game Mode: All
    Tip or Trick text: If you need offense up as a result of QGJ's third ability, only strike opponent with fresh advantage . If you select one , who received single damage before you will not receive offense up. You have to count strikes as long as the game will change bugged damage calculating system , where the damage is calculating before buffing/debuffing.

    Title: Focus fire

    Game Mode: All

    Tip or Trick text: Focus your hits on one character at a time. A dead enemy won't be able to do any damage or healing.

    Title: prevent healing problem in GW
    Game Mode: GW
    Tip or Trick text: During GW not possibility to heal is big problem. This is a reason a killing opponent's Sid can be your first have to action (only his heal immunity is long). If you have QGJ as leader use his second ability to do this. He will call assist always from the same position of team. You can always break the fight, change char position in team and start the battle again. Do this as long as both QGJ and the assist will do enough damage on the target for kill him at once or in next strike. Very good for assist is Luminara because of her stong first ability, or GS because of free offense up chance.

    Tip or Trick text: The health and cooldowns for all heroes are saved between nodes. So save your cooldowns when you are almost done with one node.

    Title: Kill weaker characters first

    Game Mode: Light side/Dark side battles

    Tip or Trick text: In some battles you will face a boss and many minions that are often weaker. It is usually best to kill the weaker characters first then kill boss last.

    Title: Optimisation of gear pices hunting
    Game Mode: Light and Dark side battles
    Tip or Trick text: The game shows you places where you will find mats needed for your gear. You should know what mats you always need and you do not have it on stock every time. Select only places where you have chance to receive not only needed mats but in addition other mats you will need in future. This way select place for 10 energy instead of 6 energy if you will need green for possibility to collect purple additional. The better can be selecting a place for 12 or 16 energy if additional revard can be usable shard.

    Title: Daily activities

    Game Mode: All

    Tip or Trick text: Try to log in daily and complete as many daily tasks as you can. They are a good source of XP, crystals, training droids, credits, arena tokens, and ally points.
