Surrender by guild officers (edited)

I think our enemy wanted to surrender and they have stopped attacking after reaching our bottom sectors.

It would be very humane if we can have a surrender button which can only be pressed by officers to end the battle and pain quickly.

Btw, we have 10m more gp than them (50 members in swgoh, so no hidden gp).
  • They could be forming a plan. We stopped our attacks but have like 60 squads left. We’re waiting for our people in other time zones to come in and waste their crap toons .
  • I don't think the op wanted a surrender button they just wanted to brag about their guild. Good job u have your attention.

    No, it won't. We're getting annihilated. The guild we're facing has multiple defense squads in every territory stronger than our strongest arena teams and they mowed through our defense like butter.
  • I think what would be more interesting is a surrender button for specific territories. If you surrender a territory you lose the points for it and don't have to place squads there. Saving them for offense or a stronger defense in another sector

    Tactical Surrender
    Guild leaders may choose at any time to surrender 1 area to the enemy. This reverts all unbeaten defensive units back into the pool for use on offense. All points earned from placing those defense teams will be forfeit. Points will only be awarded for squads defeated before the surrender. From this point, the enemy will have 12 hours to defend this territory. After 12 hours, the surrendered territory may be re-taken for half points.

    Same here, except we got pitted against a guild that could field 2 top 20 cls arena teams on defense (no one in our guild even has cls much less a top 20 team). We couldn't even conquer a single enemy territory it was so lopsided. Matchmaking really screwed up.

    True, although I think the rewards need a real overhaul if matchmaking can't set up even matches. Rewards should be much closer in that case (in particular with the zeta or omega reward) or else you basically penalize guilds for loosing matches they never had a real chance at winning.

    Based on the enemy offense logs only 15 members of the other guild have been on offense. So unless 35 other guild members were on defense exclusively matchmaker seems to have pitted our 40 members against 25 members based solely on overall gp. This seems more likely than it being 40 vs 40 with a massive gp disparity since the other guild is running out of teams, preventing them from conquering even more territories (barring them holding back so it's not a 15k to 3k end score).

    IMO that flags a potential exploit if matchmaking works based on gp and not also total sign ups. ie half guild signs up for this TW, other half signs up for the TW after so that they artificially lower their gp enough that they fight much weaker guilds than what they'd face if the whole guild signed up.
