Anyone else notice Luke now only has a leader and rebel faction tag. There is no synergy in the challenge tier between Luke and IG-90. Luke uses his Where Could He Be skill, and IG-90 stands there like a lump. Short for a Stormtrooper also does nothing for IG-90. Was this by design. I thought the entire era, all the new toons were supposed to have all tags so they worked together?
Another chance to play the “incompetence or malice” game, yay! This one I’m going with malicious because being able to get that extra 80 or 120 era currency (which is .0058 or .0087 of a servo) would be game breaking and we can’t have that, can we?
I just read Meat’s post about the compensation update and now I feel bad about my evaluation of the situation. For the first time in a very long time I actually feel like they’re doing the right thing. I think I’ve said this maybe twice before but kudos to CG.
It is by design. In the colosseum all characters used for the battle have synergy because of an ability each boss has called “this is getting out of hand.” The challenge tier behaves like a regular battle, while the colosseum is different because it’s a special game mode. I’m a f2p player, though I did purchase one pack of currency and one pack of gear to level up era characters early on using crystals. My IG and Luke are 20, so if you’re 20 or close you should be able to beat tier one.
