I am curious if all of the gear in this challenge is as worthless for everyone else as it is for me? It used to be that the Mk 5 Loroner Power Cells were a gate because they were only in the lower tier challenge. After they fixed it so all the gear from the lower tiers was in the higher tiers, that gate went away. Now I have more of these gear pieces than I could ever need. Are there people who still need the gear in this challenge? What level are you?

I stopped doing the TAC challenge when it comes up. Just do the Ability Mats x3 and call it a day. If I ever run out of TAC gear, I'll start it up again, but no need to waste any time on it as of now.

swgoh.gg says the mk4 guns are used 51 times, which means total we need 1020 to give out every piece needed. I currently have 2940 of them, and have given out plenty. Not sure CG thought out the gear thing very well.

I certainly would rather have a second STR challenge. Carbanti salvage all day. Mk4 sorosuub thing as well.

TAC Gear Challange - Worthless for Everyone?

It does eventually outlive its usefulness, yes. But if it was never there, you'd be farming/buying mk4 stun guns instead of immediately filling the slot after you upgrade a gear level. Perhaps when the next time they bump the level or gear cap they'll add a new tier.
