Even though it's a slap in the face to people who whale'd out for a 7* MT and Wicket, I do think it's the right decision, because that release model could not have been worse.
The idea is great to have a special event farm, the timeframe was the problem and if they communicated that the event would happen more frequently im sure more people would have made an effort to go for wicket or talzin. But 10 shards a month is an insult for the effort required especially since you have to actually gear up the ewoks
So you know what they should have done? They should have released the event weekly. Now everyone gets her 7* for free in 6 months with no energy investment, but everyone who paid for her then gets a lot of zetas. Open the packs back up again and you might even sell a lot more now that a) people realize how strong she is (remember how they thought NS weren’t that good at first) and b) they would get 8-16 zeta mats per month.
