Tenacity up + debuff

Is it possible to land a debuff when tenacity up is up? I'm not talking about B2 but more like Vader. If so, how much potency would he need
  • Tenacity up usually means immune to all debuffs, the exception being when a debuff has "Cannot be avoided" in the description. For example, a Jedi will not resist Ability Block on Vader's basic even with Tenacity Up.
  • Does this mean vader is useless unless you have palp lead? Even if you have zader you won't be able to land the dots, given the fact Vader is quite slow. How can Zader be of good use outside of the raid?

Just need a cleanser, b2, ventriss, or tfp (fast and lands buff immunity )
  • I've found that tenacity up makes a debuff nearly impossible to land, but tenacity down does not guarantee a debuff. Why is that?
  • During a battle, press and hold the green fist icon above a toon's head. It says something like "100% resistance to negative status effects". Whereas tenacity down says "-50% resistance to negative effects".

Because even with tenacity down there is still a 15% chance to resist. This is the minimum and doesn't change

Hay hay! Thanks for the nudge, info and screenshots.

Y'all are eagle eyes on that debuff description. Not a bug, but definitely confusing! Every unit has a minimum 15% chance to resist, no matter how low their Tenacity is, so really, it should say "Minimum chance to resist".

I've lobbed this over to the dev team to address the language issue as soon as time allows. Cheers!

The description for tenacity down has since been changed to" minimize the chance to resist negative status effects" or something along those lines.
