We didn't necessarily like them but we sure as hell spent a lot of time and/or money getting them. Had we known that the mod update would've made all that a complete waste, maybe we wouldn't have bothered.
I feel for the people who spent lots of credits on mods to then see them nerfed, I'm no fan of that, but I felt more for the people who'd spent 6+ months grinding their backsides off for gear only to see it practically nullified at the push of a button.
