The Great Zeta Debacle

So with the rate at which zeta abilities are being added to the game are we ever going to get a vast boost in our acquisition of mats. Over 70 zeta abilities will take more than 6 years for the average player to get them all, but we know there will be even more zeta abilities added.
I had an idea awhile ago that would put 1 zeta mat in the rewards for completing all of our dailies and guaranteeing 1 zeta mat in the challenges. This would grant us enough materials for 1 full zeta every 2 weeks but I fear even this wouldn't be enough to keep up with the rate at which abilities are being added.
Any thoughts on how CG could help us out here?

    Zetas are like the other half of our toons abilities, and without them alot of toons are useless. Solo without.a zeta is literally half the toon he is with a zeta...he shoots once instead of twice lol. Who would use Finn lead without the zeta. I could go on for hours here but I'll just give you a...

  • I think they should a) decrease the cost of a zeta in the fleet store (Should 1 full zeta really be worth more than a full rare character/ship?) and b) add zetas to the other stores. Let us use 2k GW tokens to buy a zeta piece. Give us a Chance to decide between getting shard shop currency for gear or zetas. Or maybe it would be easier then to just add zetas to the shard shop.

    Regardless of how it's done, we absolutely need access to more zetas. I still claim people would spend more money on gearing characters if they had the zetas to use on these characters. For example, I would absolutely gear up my Phoenix team to G12 if I had the extra zetas to use on the entire team. But since I dont, I'm leaving them at G9.
  • - Adding a tier in the challenge with 0-2 zeta mats (0 = 30%, 1 = 60%, 2 = 10%; for around 7 zeta mats per week this way on average).
    - Higher chance of getting 1 zeta for ship challenge, to an average of 4-5 zeta mats a week
    - Re-implement flash events, corresponding to the month rework/addition, with a 3 guaranteed zeta mats for first completion (like for phoenix flash event), for a total of 3 zeta mats a month
    - Adding zeta mats as a possible reward for node 9 hard battles (with ~5% chance of drop, i.e 1-2 zetas a day with full crystal recharges and focus solely on these nodes)


    With these, a fully dedicated player with a significant crystal income can get 1 zeta ability in a bit more than a week. Most average players will have 2 zeta abilities a month, which will still leave them with a full year to get them all, provided no new zeta ability is released. Considering there are more than 2 new zeta abilities released every month on average, it still means players will have to make tough decisions in the area.
  • I'll take stun cuffs in the tac challenge. Everything in there is useless now.
