Huh, I have a FIVE star Cassian and spent nothing. Not sure where that $150 price estimate is coming from.

Did the 5999 pack for each new marquee, all of which were earned through normal gameplay.
If a player spends on episode pass, that’s three passes to 4 star for $60. $30 per character to buy the pack to get them to 5 star, which is $180. That’s assuming a player does not have 20k crystals to buy every pack because not everyone spends crystals wisely. Ahnald101 did a great video on the cost if a player paid straight money to level to 7 star and it came to $1300 to get all toons to 7 stars.
Yep. Ahnald has done a few videos like that through the years and the comments are filled with people who have quit or would spend if CG was more reasonable.
Folks in my current guild have largely concluded that spending nothing is the only way to *really* win. That in turn hurts competitiveness which hurts fun. And fun is the whole point. Sad state of affairs.
