The problem of an unhealthy economy in the game is growing.

With the addition of new purchases, like Signals for episode and raid currency, there are more options for spending accumulated currency. But CG forgets that the old purchases are still relevant, and their demand remains. Take, for example, Omicrons, which are far more important and valuable in the game than Signals. But Signals are much more expensive. The price is simply astronomical—they are the most expensive materials in the episode and raid stores at the moment. Despite the fact that the currency we spend on this is not increasing.

Another major problem is the terrible distribution of episode currency across the free episode track. If you don't have enough currency by the end or overspend it, you won't be able to redeem all your omicrons at the start of the next journey.

By adding new purchases, you must increase the earnings of the required currency. Or at least add more ways to earn it. By adding this currency to other rewards. Adding new game modes or, for example, bringing back the old Galactic Challenge mode and adding this currency as a reward there. You're cluttering the game with a ton of free Light Speed Tokens. And you're too stingy to give us a little more of the currency we need? Really? And stop ripping us off with such high prices. Seriously.

  • This is getting down to counting the last nails in the coffin lid … we’ve been playing since day 1 … & built pretty decent crews through planning & patience … & gamecraft.

the most recent devaluation in mark 1 tokens is quite frankly insulting. It’s tant amount to the developers saying they don’t give a crap about us unless we spend gobs of cash … and on this point, let’s be perfectly clear … they give zero thought to the long term quality of playing experience.

just do the right thing .., bring the token & currency values back to normalcy, & stop gouging on prices … someone needs to give you (devs) a lesson in fundamental economics

  • This is a really weird decision. They're just mindlessly pushing these purchases without realizing that people already have other things to spend these currencies on. Honestly, in all the time they've added signals to the episode store, I've never bought one. Because I have other things to spend episode currency on. I'm already sorely lacking it. I want to buy some nice cube, buy Omicrons, and get some upgrades for mods. Spend it on signals too? Where are we supposed to get so much of this currency? They should increase the amount of this currency farmed from the final Episode Track crate. Because it drops so little there. It's too little, and if I'm lucky, I'll get at least a thousand or at least 800. Usually it 350 or 500.

Just to add to this a wishful thinking thought. Most items must have a base price already hardcoded, why don't CG look at allowing players the ability to pick the items they want and modify the quantity with a daily cap perhaps. Then select the currency they wish to do at whatever the exchange rate has been set.

Perhaps such a Hutt Exchange or Watto scrap store could be an episode pass or pass+ special access feature.

There really are some strange in-game pricing between currencies going on.  You really can get rinsed badly if you're not careful and some prices are just plain off putting from a psychological point of view.

For example Mk2 Pulse Modulators appear to have bumped up to 900 guild credits.  I'm sure it wasn't this price a little while back since I would just dip 450 for 3 every now and again. I understand the price & qty is the same but mentally it just feels more restrictive.
