The setup of releasing new characters is the most beneficial to whales as it's ever been. The rest of us have to wait a couple months to farm the new characters, which is significantly longer than gap in most other games. The reason this game has been successful for so long is because of their proficiency in freemium model; whereas other games separate free players from paying ones, SWGOH allows free players to wet their tongue and join the fight a short while after the paying ones do. Every other mobile game dies because certain parts of the game are inexcessible to free players.
