But let's be real the characters in George's prequels weren't exactly multifaceted.

Tech was thought up before Disney bought Star Wars. Bad Batch was supposed to be in season 7 before Disney bought Star Wars and Canceled it.

Correct. Before disney decided to make a new season of clone wars, the bad batch episodes were on youtube in a mostly finished form.

They pulled them as soon as they green lighted the project.

There was also an animatic with voice over done for an episode about a giant kyber crystal, where in obiwan and anakin had to stop the droids from taking it

Not crazy haha, the giant Kyber crystal ended up being a storyline in rebels if I remember correctly. Think it was an episode with saw gerrera

Well the post he was referring to was insinuating that us, current star wars fans, are lowely. So someone calling that out is expected.
