To me, lockouts wouldn't matter if my arena team could play as well as I can when it defends. Knowing it's easier to defeat the "ai" when on the offensive, lockouts and colluding have evolved to protect the stupid defense.
It sucks being on the wrong end of it. That being said, perhaps it would have been better to be a team player rather than attacking people outside of the accepted group's code of conduct.
