Good point.

A certain amount happens even without chats and lockouts. Since people have different payouts, people will learn to stop attacking people near their payout otherwise they will just lose their rank to them in 10 mins.

That said, the current system need redone. It's flawed in so many ways. The worst being payouts being tied to a specific time.
