Tier 6 mod

Question

So I just spliced my first mod to 6 dot, and I'm rather angry with the outcome. I had no idea that 6 dot mods are restricted to G12 characters. It would have never crossed my mind because it's impractical to restrict mods to gear levels, especially the highest one. I would really like to reverse this mod splice because looking for the biggest bang for my buck, I upgraded my highest speed mod, a 20 speed mod. That mod is part of my fastest speed set, and I use that set for lots of G11 and below character. In fact this set seldom sees G12 characters. Now the very mod I use to beef out a character with speed for any given event is not possible anymore, which is very frustrating due to at no point being warned by the mod upgrade that only G12 characters can equip 6 dot mods. It doesn't matter if it was said in the patch notes. If it isn't stated as I'm upgrading then I fault the program because I have to look for a replacement to a 20 speed mod. I'll try to contact EA/CG support but I known the answer.

Not to be a jerk here, and I know you addressed it in your comment about the patch notes, but... ever try to build a table and the instructions are printed directly on the screws? No, they’re in the instruction book, i.e. the patch notes.

Why do I need to go outside the game app to get all ththe info I need? I come here to have a voice, not to make sure I understand the game.

CG, please understand how unethical it is to restrict speed to G12. Speed cannot be restricted to to any gear tier. I've had this 20 speed mod on my G8 Pao for crying aloud. Now my Nest at 3 star G11 cannot equip said mod. That character for the legendary event cannot equip this mod. That character for the mythic cannot equip. That character for ground war cannot equip. This is creating an issue.

The g12 requirement is terrible as is the cost to move mods, 6 dots cost 8000 a piece!
