Tier 7 of the event is ridiculous

I'm F2P (started in November) so have a good roster and have just brought lando to 7* so I'm able to take part in tier 7 of the palp event. Well, what can I say? You can't do much when they have twenty turns before you move. Yes, my characters aren't the best gear levels, but I'd still expect to come close to beating it. All I can mange currently is to bring down the RGs. Lando is failing me and leia can't even double tap to save her life. You can't do much against characters with 5000 speed. Anyway, here's what I've got: (level 80)
AA (L), gear 9 all abilities level 7.
Lando, gear 10, all abilites level 7 with 8 AOE (useless as he can't double crit)
Leia, gear 9 all abilities level 7
STHan, gear 11, all abilities level 7
HRScout, gear 7 (level 51), abilites 3. (Canon fodder).
What can I do to stand even the slightest chance of winning? I could move my arena mods over. Well, I don't have any mods because I refuse to take part in the modding 'fun'. In other words, I hate them. There's not much else I can do. I'm not made of credits, so can't level HRScout up.
Anything I'm missing?

HRScout is very underrated in the game. I like him since day one.
My team was AA L, St Han, Biggs, Leia and HRS. HRS is fully gear and mods. He was my key in clearing tier 7. He stunned every now and then, and increased the turn meter of the entire team.

I used the same team with a G9 STH and a G8 Luke instead of HRS. Only other difference besides, surely, mods, is that I wound up using Lando lead. Only took me 3 tries I think.

I needed over 40 tries to get him. But the hardest ever was to watch the intro over 40 times.

I did it with a pathetically mediocre rebel squad but Lobot was key for me for the healing with Akbar on dispel. Helped manage cooldowns.
