Tournament reward is calibrated for 3*, not Jyn's 4*

@CG_Kozispoon
I think the tournament reward system is calibrated for the 3* Shoretrooper, and not the 4* Jyn.

at #101, you get 25 shard, at 100, you get Jyn (worth of 80 shard). Huge jump but not as huge if it would be a 3* shoretrooper worth of 30 shard
at #25, you get 30 shard (which would be enough to star up a 3* char to 4*, but not enough to star up a 4* char
at #10, you get 50 shard so you still can't star up Jyn to 5*
at #5, you get 95 shard so you can make Jyn 5* and have 30 left (basically you can promote a 3* character 2 times, but not a 4*)
at #4, you get 120 shard so you can make Jyn 5* and have 55 shard left
at #3, you get 180 shard so you can make Jyn 6* and have 30 shard left (3* to 4* cost 30 shard)
at #2 you get 210 shard so you have a 6*Jyn with 60 shard left
at #1, you get 280 shard so you have 7* Jyn and have 30 shard left to convert in the shard shop

Another issue is that in the second tournament, getting a character and converting it to 32 shard is disappointing instead of getting the 80 shard. It worked nicely in Vader ship tournament, would have been nice to apply the same system here.

Right now I have a 4* Jyn with 30 shard. To get her 5*, I need to reach #100, to convert Jyn for 32 shard and get another 10. To reach 6*, I need 120 shard which I would get if I reach #4 (32 from the character and 95 extra). For 7*, I need 220, so I need to reach #2. Only a minor difference compared to if I don't have the character already.

If you won't fix this for this tournament, please fix it for the next. It's very demotivating spending lots of energies, GW Tokens on collecting the ally points and facing with such a demotivating rewarding system.

  • What bothers me is, that this is not communicated... i build all my game play for the last 4 weeks around 7 star Jyn .... and now this is such a set back.... i cant grind back... But to let people find out this missleading information on their own is just irresponsible and unproffesional. It takes a lot if time, thinking and tinkering as well as a big portion of deducation (nor for my part but for p2p players also a real money investment) just to find out you can not seven star her..... this is so disappointing. It makes me question my self if i want to keep playing this game.
  • PS.
I won the previos Jyn Tournament in 50-59 bracket. So i have her at 5 stars with 30/85 so i need 155 shards to 7 stars
second place is in the 60-69 bracket gives 1+ (missleading - it is not 80 shards but 30 or something) 120 (which will be around 150) so only with first place i can seven star her. So i have to win two time a tournament for 7 stars charackter? really?.... And even combination of first and second is not enough...... oh lol...

Funny thing is - if i want her at 6 stars i need 5th place (1+ 30 shards) or better... oh WOW!
  • Agree. This is the most disappointing tournament of all. From the exorbitant AP cost compared to the Vader ship tournament (5000ap/team as opposed to 12500 for this one). then there's the rewards, it's extremely disappointing, and creates a sense of "what am i even doing playing this game for?" The game isn't rewarding me sufficiently for spending money, nor is it rewarding me sufficiently for logging in every day. There comes a point where you aren't motivating me to spend more money, you're motivating me to quit this game entirely and broadcast from the mountaintops that it's a complete waste of time and money.
Don't even get me started on your Droid event. What a scam.
No instructions or rules posted anywhere for any events or tournaments, even under the "details" icon. Details? Details mean well, DETAILS. If you're going to put the information you put under "details" it should be renamed to "Click here for Vague, Remote, Hints at what to Possibly Expect".
Level 80, you're put in 80-85 shard. Totally unfair. Playing versus level 85 people who have had the game since pre-release and therefore have the deepest, highest gear rosters is totally different from playing against people who have just reached level 85 when you're just getting into level 80.

Could be intentional. Trying to get her out to new players.

And help prevent those that already have her from fully leveling her (pretty much) for free.
