I responded to that post in detail in the thread where it is located. Frankly, I found John's post as insulting as he apparently finds ours. Be sure to notice the comment at the end where he suggests maybe they won't put any new characters into GW shipments. Because of course, the lack of options there now couldn't possibly be related to why people are stockpiling tokens.
@AnotherMolEliza has made excellent points, which will likely be ignored, as will mine.

That was 6 weeks ago. Dozens of character bugs persist; a tiny handful have been fixed. Aaron hasn't even posted here in over 2 weeks.
