Trouble with last stage of defense mod tier 2 (dooku+2x mag guard)

Trouble with last stage of defense mod tier 2 (dooku+2x magna guard). The only qualifying toons I have are lumi, qgj, mace, ahsoka and jc. I get through the first 4 stages without loosing any too...

The reason it seems like I'm pushing the wrong toons is because those important ones still mid to low in the list were just obtained very recently. Either via farming slowly or luck. Problem with getting a bunch in short order? Not enough resources to upgrade all of them enough
