I agree wi5h some of this. Except you have to pay more attention to a few things. For one, you do not need to use the same team on offense and defense. The majority of players do, but as people get more toons and mods, swapping out toons on offense will become more common. So end game u want team to defend, foremost.

In this light, there is little reason to field EP, anymore. Droids and rex and wiggs can all beat EP. So if u consider all 4 of these teams meta, let's examine. Every meta team beats EP lead. The only thing u can defend against that is meta are slower ep teams. And they can still beat u sometimes if ur ep misses their ep. Against the other meta teams, they can all easily beat u over 80 percent of the time offense. And u can beat them only when rng favors u. U can lose 25 percent ( or more against rex leads.)

Droids. Here people are seemingly divided on defense. But if u examine just the other met teams, wiggs can have some problems against droids, for sure. Depending on setup. Rex, no problem. 100 win on auto. EP lead withe rg will win lose sometimes. Of these, EP is probably the worst. Wiggs can probably win 70% with a toon swap or two.

Droids, otoh, can run into trouble with rex lead. Even wiggs can rng beat droids, afaik. The only sure thing for droids is ep lead.. which I have shown seems to be a dumb squad to field.

The other major rub which some don't seem to get..droids are the most susceptible to attack by non meta squads. Any schlep with rg, St han and a few other tanks can easily beat JE droid teams. With or without B2. This would be fine if Droids were the apex predator on offense. They are the fastest, they should have this inherent weakness. The problem is that droids are not. Rex is at the top. It's like they made a rock paper scissor for F2P. Then they added a loophole, tacking Rex on the side, and the whole thing doesn't work, anymore. So now it's just Rex and Wiggs.

If u consider these 4 squads all part of an equal rock paper scissor merry go round, I think u are wrong. As u say REXFAC beats everything. But worse, it defends very high against all other meta teams. And with the latest toons it also blocks out seemingly all of the nonmeta squads too. As does wiggs. No one is going to beat Wiggs or the new rex squads with phasma lead. Some of the other "meta" squads can't even do it. I used to use dooku squad to beat rex. But with and lando and b2 or even rex and wiggs, the doors are shut pretty tight.
