These are Good ideas, but if you have noticed that most factions have themes, and droids are slow, Criticals, and AoE. So the speed +25 would be too much maybe +15. Another way to make him better is having direct hero synergy. The most likely candidate for this is Magna Guard, but he is already good, so I suggest an Magna VanGuard that has a yellow staff and robes, and maybe something like this
Electro Staff Strike
Deal Physical Damage to target enemy with a X% to inflict defense down. If defense was inflicted and General Gervous if Present, call him to assist
Jedi Disruption
Deal Physical damage to all enemies and inflict a DoT for each Jedi Enemy
If Gervous is present, taunt for 1 turn
Relentless protecter
Whenever Magna Vanguard's leader or Grevous is attacked, there is a chance Magna Guard will attack back at the attacker
