I would rather they design a raid which requires just one battle a run or make the raid weekly with scaled rewards but no added effort, no extra RNG or number of battles. Or much less RNG as with the number of battles currently. I prefer having to play than being able to sim for reduced score. But reducing the effort is required.
If just one battle, I would not mind multiple attempts, less than 5 or taking one squad up to R8 to R9. Give the option of several squads which can be used and can max score, but we can select the most appropriate for our roster to invest in. I also don’t mind if the newly released squad has severely less RNG to promote levelling up new characters. As long as all have a reasonable success rate. If I need to do 5 battles with different squads, then the RNG should be so minimal all are likely to be 1 attempt.
I also think if PVE like the raid continue to use modifiers which alter kits performance or have enemies which alter how we would mod, we need separate active mod load outs for each mode. I am tired of having to pay a 3rd party site so I can swap mods out efficiently for the raid and TB. am not sure how this design benefits CG in anyway. But swapping mods is disruptive to other modes all running in parallel, reducing multi-tasking and risking impact on other modes if you accidentally load in with Raid mods to TW and GAC. Switch between conquest, TB and raid attempts. Or need to fleet climb whilst in the middle of the raid.
