ventress and sith

I'd argue that Savage was a Sith. Maul declared himself a Sith, then took Savage as his apprentice. Debate the justification of whether the title is deserved or not all you like - but if you believe Maul to be a Sith, then Savage - legitly - is also a Sith.

Ventress is unique.

She was being used by Dooku with the lure of becoming a Sith apprentice, but never truly was one (even though Dooku claimed she was entirely). She's as much a Sith as Grievous (who was kind of in the same boat). You can argue Maul was more or less in that same boat, too.

Sith Assassin is a Darth making your whole argument invalid.

Yeah, I mean, I saw what @CG_CapGaSP wrote - and it's all up for interpretation. I think any KOTOR fans/players are probably more free with the label, as from that point of view what we have now is more a set of guidelines. If you're JUST going by the movies then yeah, the rule of two, and you're Sith roster is going to be shallow.

Still, I'd give it that when it came down to it, Ventress was first a Nightsister and then a Scoundrel/Bounty hunter as the show went on - which is where she was left.

But Maul/Savage don't need to be female to be labelled Nightsister Allies - speaking of which, I wouldn't mind having Spider Maul from the one episode - you don't get to choose your targets with him, but he's devastating....

Throwing in Mother Talzin - so she isn't an Old Daka clone, maybe instead of resurrecting a toon, she replaces that slot with taunting shadowy undead night-sister ninja's - if she out lives her team she could zerg for the win, assuming the enemy has been weakened.

And the two Sith released with DN are old republic which was before the rule of two.

With Nihilus being released it's clear that this game isn't beholden to canon, so what Chee says isn't really relevant. She's not relevant as a nightsister, adding the Sith tag may make her useful and it makes just as much (more) sense as saying STHan is a tank because he's wearing stormtrooper "armor" so why not?

Furthermore, any arguments based on the Rule of Two - something so shortsighted and nonsensical that it's laughable - are poor arguments at their base, whether they come from Chee or someone else. Maul was a Sith. He claimed that mantle, and he named Savage his apprentice and continued the training in the dark side Savage received from Dooku. At the least that makes Savage a Sith. Given that Palpatine himself didn't even really care about the Rule of Two - and recognized the two of them as rivals - invalidating them as Sith doesn't make sense.

I recently watched an episode of Clone Wars in which General Kenobi referred to Ventress as a Sith.

They may have said this game version won't get the Sith tag, but it still stinks and we can still complain. Maybe they'll change their minds?

They should change the Nightsister tag to Dathomirian and then add it to Maul and Oppress

Personally I would prefer the Bounty Hunter tag, then the discussion would be over.

That's because the rebellion didn't exist at that time, no one is asking for asajj to be empire
