Wampa omicron not working

Ive also had a problem with my starkiller team against a rey bros holdo and reg fin. They took one turn and got smoked. Ive been using the team for a year and didnt think I shouldnt have a problem or at least take out most of the team.

Wampa omicron is still working. I just beat a similar standard MM team to the ones I usually beat with a decent DC. Please, fix your strategy.

Your Wampa has 68% tenacity. Why on earth are you trying to use him vs Iden? I think a better way to phrase what happened is that your mediocre Wampa lost to an Iden team.

Two rounds in a row my r5 well modded Wampa has dropped battles to Bossk lead BH's with no omi on Zam, and no OG Mando to disintegrate her. Neither even had a DC applied to them.

Both went the exact same. All 4 BH's go down, between counters and the use of FF, Wampa's damage and tenacity should be pretty well through the roof. Dengar is left.

Both times, my Wampa had fresh protection up from using the AOE, and had Dengar dazed as well. He uses his thermals, crits on at least one of them and lands some bombs and tenacity down on Wampa. Nothing I've not seen before. But here's where it got weird both times:

My Wampa is faster than the opponent's Dengar in each case. The daze landed on Dengar is fresh, so it lasts for two turns. On his landing the TD's, even if Wampa evades one (which would ordinarily give Dengar 60% TM), since he's dazed he won't get that bonus TM.

Yet, in each case, their Dengar went again *before* my Wampa did, used his middle special...and since my Wampa was over 50% TM, she ends up stunned. Dengar loads more TD's immediately, and she blows up and dies before I get another turn.

I've been seeing the posts since this season started, and doubted any issues were being had because I cleared GG, oVersio and MM teams that I'd ordinarily have zero trouble with. But then these two battles have definitely piqued my curiosity if there is indeed something weird going on under the hood, even if it doesn't seem to be uniform or happening to everyone.

The first battle I chalked up to really bad RNG...but that team was a little better developed that the dumpster fire I went against today, and things went down almost identically to the previous round.

And, for the record, I've only ever lost to a BH team once prior, way back when I first put the Omi on Wampa, because it had OG Mando and I idiotically wasn't thinking of the disintegrate being almost a foregone conclusion, lol.

But since then, I've beaten them when their composition has oZam, all r7+ (my Wampa's at r5), really well modded and fast teams overall, and those with many wonky datacrons (like the tank revive one and ones with significant Scoundrel faction bonuses) and it's never even been close to a loss.

So while I can't say anything beyond the anecdotal, I will say that from what I've now seen ,something does seem to be off with either her ramping offense or stacking of health/protection and tenacity.

And I'm not even bothered by it, as I'm probably getting steamrolled this round anyway,, but figured I'd throw it out there for those that think there's zero chance something's amiss. Not saying there is, but after a 100% historical win rate against much better squads than the ones I lost two these last two rounds to, I would beg to differ. ??‍♂️

Your GAC history is public. I can't see this round, but your loss vs BH in the previous round is nothing at all like you described. You lost to a team with Zam, with all 5 BH still alive when Wampa died.

Edit: also, your Wampa has terrible mods. Top players are modding for health and tenacity. Modding for offense leaves you vulnerable to getting killed early in the battle before your stats have ramped up. You know, kinda like exactly what happened to you in the 2nd round last GAC.

Oh, ok, so forgive my unreliable recollection on the battle two days ago. I'll blame the 420 on that one. Does it show Zam had her omi in the last round? Could've sworn she didn't, but I may be mistaken on that. And, to the point of modding, if you look at the length of the battle from the previous round, I wasn't killed early before the stars would start to ramp. Not that the battle lasted super long, because when it went to FUBAR status they cleared me quickly. And, I do now recall all 5 BH were still alive, but Bossk was one hit away from death when the tides turned and they healed up a bunch from their final salvo that took me down.

To the point on the modding as well, I may not run what "Top Players" are, as I'm not a top player. But they're most certainly serviceable mods, as my Wampa doesn't get taken out early before I can ramp stats unless I pick a bad team to try and counter with her.

But the fight today I remember quite well, because it was hours ago and there was no 420 involved, lol. Went down exactly as I described. No omi on Zam. Still just curious how a dazed Dengar lapped Wampa and took two turns to her 1. It's not mathematically feasible with him having daze, lest he be what, 450 speed?

To the guy after you who mentioned I should learn Bossk's and Dengar's payouts, I'm quite aware of them. They wouldn't boost Dengar's speed to where he's taking 2 turns to my Wampa's 1....especially not with having daze.

Again, I didn't say it was bugged, I just stated having some weirdness in attacks these last two rounds. Last round may have just been poor RNG and my modding coming back to bite me. But this round, at least the way it ended, made no sense given the conditions at the time. Had she gotten her turn after his AOE as she should've, her offense was ramped up more than enough that she'd have taken him out.

It looks like you've modded Wampa for offense and crit chance (if I found the correct profile). You should switch to all health with health primaries. Can throw some tenacity in there if you plan on using against high debuff teams. I run all health and never have a problem with R4 Wampa. You really want Wampa to be healthy enough to survive the initial salvo (and with enough tenacity with his bonus to not get stunned on the first attack), until you can use Icebreaker. Then its just a matter of time because your offense, tenacity, crit chance, etc will keep stacking.

All this thread has done is confirm Wampa is WAI. Which is great!

I just lost SK vs Rey. Either his omis are broken... OR

Rey dodged a basic from SK that would have put her in Dmg Imm and removed the last of her Inspired stacks--right before she would have taken a turn

The dodge allowed 50RT to get Inspired

The now Dmg Imm Rey + Inspired 50RT led to 50RT gaining a ton of Mastery while I waited

50RT gaining a ton of Mastery made her awfully hard to hit

Being unable to kill 50RT, I was unable to target the VIP, which was Ben

Spiral spiral spiral, I timed out with Rey and Ben in the red and 50RT being a dodge machine


But who knows? It's probably just broken /s
