Whale Fails. I hate Kyber 1

Just to give you an idea about these guys. My match up against a 10mil+ account with EVERYTHING at g13 against my 7.5mil, 5 GL and 90 less g13:

They are dropping for a reason and are definitely beatable. Poor understanding of mechanics and counters, terrible mods, terrible strategies. Just look at their history and you'll find a way to beat them.

The problem is people come to the forum to complain usually have the same mindset....like the 10mil+ guy.

Bravo. Did you climb into Kyber 1 from
lower division before? if you started in the new system with 15-0, you would be at the top of Kyber 1 right now. If you just climb into Kyber 1, then you will soon face the reality of being f2p and start having losing streak. Lol. Win/loss record when you are still climbing in rank means very little yet,

It doesn't work that way. Everyone is assuming that climbing and falling is linear based on wins and losses. It isn't. I went 2 wins and 1 loss and lost rank. I have also lost 2 and won 1 and held rank. You people make these statements as though everything is designed to be even and fair. If you are paying attention it obviously isn't. There are very questionable irregularities in the ranking system and that is before we even talk about how they are going to artificially adjust ranks at the end of every season.

Why do you care about the actual ranking associated with your SR? You aren't high enough for your actual rank # to matter, are you? I thought that outside of top 1000 of K1, end of season rewards for a division were the same throughout.

I assume you are referring to the squish. As far as I know, the only rankings that get adjusted are by those that are now tied in SR that were no before. I fail to see how this is really a big issue, though. Those people were already pretty close to your SR to begin with. That said, it would have been nice for CG to be more clear (and not lie in the process) on why they want the squish and what they expect it to accomplish.

How is this matchmaking horrible if big accounts can drop ranks if they lose? Isn’t that the point? You win you go up, you lose you go down. If an account w/ 6 GL is in kyber 2, it’s for a reason.

So if the 6 gls guy who just drop in k2 wins against the 4 gls accounts he fights there, he’ll be back in k1 next event.
