Really? Match fixing is considered a bad thing in virtually any type of competitive game, and that's exactly what shard chats bring. If match fixing is a usual and completely uncontrollable thing it's the clear indicator of broken PvP system.

Yes, really. Because of how the payouts work in this game, which is different from every similar game I've paid, shard communication is great. It's not always "match fixing" so much as it is "my payout is now and yours is in 2 hours, so I'll go around you and if you climb early you won't get in my way."

It's not "shard communication great" but the payout system that makes it essential for maximizing profits is bad. The point is that the squad/fleet Arena payout system is broken as reward distribution mechanism, not the shard chats by themselves.
