What exactly does Darth Sidious' zeta do for health?

I looked it up here to try and find the answer, but how exactly does sidious gain health with his zeta? Is the health increasing by percent? Or does his potency increase his health by 1 health per 1%?...

I am more interested in landing those debuffs on the tank due to the increased potency - yes the health will make him last longer, but it seems without the zeta it's hard to get his potency over 24% and then he doesn't land enough DoTs for Zader to feed from.
