What to spend crystals on after energy refreshes?

Is it worth spending crystals on kyrotech or gear? After spending crystals on energy refreshes I still have a small net income of crystals every day. With things like GAC event rewards and other thing...

Hoard. Once you need loads of impulse detectors for higher relics youre going to enjoy those extra crystals.
