What? Why?!!!

A UI (change?) (improvement?) that's mostly fluff? I'm just confused why this was higher up on the Dev's priorities list than a fleet loadout or fixing bugs like the nearly 1 year old Malev replacement droid assist bug.

I'm not saying for sure this is true, and in fact I have no evidence, but as pure speculation I wouldn't be surprised if they liked the UI they were developing for LOTR better and figured they could reuse the code over here.
