Who here is confident they will get shoretrooper

Whoever gets shoretrooper, by cheating or not, - they will not be liked by other players if they have it in their party. Like at some point having Vader with many stars was prestige, so having shoretrooper will be antiprestige and player who will have it , will be caunted as belonging to the dark side.

It's such an easy fix to stop exploiters. Once your defensive team is set. It's set. If they want to post a below par team; then everyone else can enjoy easy rewards too. If they want to play properly they will.

You could even allow a daily change of defensive team. But it's not essential really as I see it.

I will not get a shoretrooper. I missed the "unplanned refresh" and I am not exploting.

Still fairly confident I can hang in the top 10 of my lowbie shard for a 3* trooper. I might break into top 5 if I get lucky with the top players not spending, in which case he is 4*

I'm sure those are the only 2 reasons why you won't get shoretrooper ;)

The amount of points required to get him requires you to spend. I have four decent squads and to stay in the top 100 is costing me thousands of crystals. I don't see how a f2p person could do it. Unless the lower lvl tourneys aren't as cutthroat.

On my tourney....9 of top 10 are from the same guild (team instincts) seem legal....cough cough

My goal is to be in top 200 for the raid gear and 30 shards but im close to 200 but it's going to be tough to break that barrier with little point rewards and only two squads

Ok, confident I can get a shore trooper. I would have gotten him if the reset had been the end of the event, and with the reset, I am confident I can at least maintain the top 10 position (or get back into it) until the end of the event. My main issue is that there's a doofus at #9 who has a defense squad that I can whomp with my C-team, which means everybody can whomp him with their C-team. I have gotten all the points I can off of him without going past (I want to see who else I will be fighting against to see if it's worth spending another refresh on my C-team, or I should just beat him with my B-team and save myself some crystals). There's a 300-point difference between #11 and #12, so #11 will jump over both of us, but if #12 downwards have all but given up, then I am sitting rosey. If I have to fight back up from lower, it should still be doable. Anyway, will now wait until tomorrow morning and see where the chips fall.
