Why does Nihilus event start at 3am

Because it's at the same time for everyone, and not everyone lives in the same time zone

That still seem so weird,

I get its midnight pacific (i.e. Dev) time but every other event starts during the day time

And it's not like we can unlock him tomorrow anyway so
