Why extremely rare event
To push you to buy now ? To let people who have full rebels teams get something that makes them feel special for awhile? I personally would have preferred if an empire team would have been the key...

I agree with most of you on your points. I've been playing daily since Nov. Have 55 toons. 21 that are 7*. 10 that are 6*. Have almost maxed out Jawas (gamble i know) and was only able to do up to Tier IV of the Emperor's event. I should have paid more attention earlier & worked on my Rebels. If I'm lucky I'll be able to unlock him by Sunday. Then get 6* before the end of the event. STH is 7*, Lando 6*, Leia 5*, Biggs 3* and Han 5*, but I'm working on HRScout (94/50). My Luke is 3*. I just never was interested in Rebels. Before Synergy & Mod challenges there was no reason you had to farm factions. I wish I could get 7* Emperor before the end of the event bc I've wanted him for a long time. I would have guessed you needed Empire toons to unlock him (I didn't think you'd be fighting him for his shards anyways - though I guess Yoda should have told me). I do think they should have done some different character packs. I couldn't spend money to get him any faster even if I wanted to bc I'm not going to farm Luke bc I'm farming Lando. Guild currency goes towards JE & Dengar. I know it's all about choices. I like the event & hope it comes back sooner than later....
