Why is evasion so strong in this game?

Evasion is so powerful (and therefore so common) because it is impossible for the AI to stuff up.
Special Abilities - AI casts them at the wrong time or to the wrong heroes
High DPS - AI has poor target selection
High Speed - see high DPS
The AI simply cannot get passive evasion wrong. The offense up and TM gain (and passive heal for that matter) are just the icing on the cake. It's all those dodged UF, Swarms, Humbling Blows, stuns, ability blocks etc that really hurt.
