8min before payout time. You are on first spot and fight against an opponent to block your first place. Other opponents know you will back to get attacked 3min before payout time. But if you press retreat something around 5min before payout time and immediatly spend 50 crystals for the next fight you can block your first place for 5 additional minutes. Thats a little nasty trick where you need the retreat button.
I use that most of the days. But even with that trick I get lockout almost everyday. Some guys keep pressing battle 7 minutes non stop- It let's players get back to the game instead of waiting it out should one find the match is a lost cause.
- The bigger question is: Why is the auto-button so close to the retreat button? Can be pretty ugly in GW if you hit the wrong one accidently xD

Well it's not...- I always just use auto if it's a lost cause. It seems quicker than retreating and then confirming the retreat.

Why not? You can only retreat during your turn. If you accidently hit auto instead of retreat it could happen that your squad or what's left of it gets killed."rawman;594402" wrote:

The gear above the auto button isn't the retreat button. It gives you the option to retreat which you can close easily. I have no idea what you're talking about.- Many reasons
- Fighting a battle just to meet daily requirement.
- Retreating from a battle useless to be fought as you know you cannot win.
- (and this one I am not sure): Maybe retreating is better than losing stats wise?
Altogether it saves lots of time. "Dooku_for_days;594407" wrote:

They are talking about accidentally hitting auto when you intend to retreat."kello_511;594413" wrote:
