Why still no love for fleet?

We got era battles, coliseum relic 10 and delta but why is fleet still the single most aspect of the game with no major updates? I was never a huge fan of it for various reasons including the slow ship farm and lack of ships in general but outside of fleet arena and the easy/hard mode battles there isn't much to do here. Why didn't fleet recieve a big overhaul when there was a big opportunity for it?
