- Well whatever, I hope all exploiters get accounts frozen for a length of time equal to the amount of extra raids they have. I'm not buying the they did it first story, its an exploit pure and simple and those involved should be punished.

Why so bitter about a game? Is because your sock puppet wont pkay with you anymore?
I'm not bitter. Bitter is something like this:
https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/comment/466691/#Comment_466691- And that would allow guilds of whales to rule the leaderboard.

isnt that how its supposed to be ?"Naecabon;490701" wrote:
It'll get fixed. No one's getting punished for doing things the devs themselves condoned.
Perhaps. Before the June 10 announcement, I agree that one could reasonably have believed that these were not exploits; however, once the developers stated that these were unintended and that they were putting in new mechanics to prevent them, at that point guild hopping, alt farming and related strategies could be considered inappropriate exploits."Naecabon;490820" wrote:
The TLDR of the "fix" that this game needs is this:
Completely revamp the Guild and Raid system so that Guilds no longer require the Guild itself to "save up" the Guild Coins needed, but instead make Guild Coins a personal currency that individuals acquire and spend themselves to enter an opened raid.
How it would work is an officer would open the raid "for free," and individuals would spend 1200 of their OWN Guild Coins to enter the raid themselves. This means instead of many people pooling together coins to open the raid (meaning alts have power) it's individuals entering on their own. This kills both alt guilds and alt rotating entirely.
It also has a ton of other perks.
- Now if you miss a raid you still have your 1200 and you could potentially raid in another guild with some friends to catch up. This is HEALTHY guild hopping that promotes a good community.
- Now individuals are responsible for their 600/600 a day and if they mess it up, tough luck! You're only hurting yourself and now the guild doesn't have to baby you or suffer for your mess ups.
- Now guilds could run multiple raids and divide up people within their 50/50 roster if they have the roster strength to complete raids using less than 50 people. Strong enough to do two 25/50 raids? How about five 10/50 raids? maybe a 10 / 20 / 20 set of three. Whatever works for you! The point is, no one likes competing on the ONE leaderboard in a raid for rewards and by allowing us to run multiple split up raids at no additional cost, it actually helps in maintaining a higher minimum finish for people. Stronger guilds could, say, guarantee no one finished below #25. This is a huge improvement to the current system.
This change is THE change. This is how you fix this game on multiple levels all at once. Anything less is sub par. But, again, it seems the freemium nature of the game may not allow for such a stellar change to take place, regardless of how many improvements it offers. I digress.
You clearly agree there is raid exploiting occurring and yet your solution was to participate in it. Your and your guild have no integrity and CG should not listen to you. Go back to congress where you clearly work."Naecabon;490833" wrote:

Maybe, and so what? Guilds of whales SHOULD rule the leaderboard. Welcome to freemium gaming.
That's the least of my concerns. If that's all you care about, play a different game. I care about changes that actually fix the game.
Your lying, you care about being top of the leaderboard at all costs even if you get booted from the game for it. And no it shouldnt be like that and you know it, you pay to get characters ahead of the curve, thats all. You dont get to dictate the rules of the game with that purchase, what your saying is the same as pvp being whole rosters playing against each other. Its ridiculous. Your guild will fall apart because playing in an all whale guild is unprofitable in game, your desperate to stop that happening but face facts. you cant all finish first and none of you are happy with the rewards you get. So bad you have to use exploits so people FEEL like they are still winning.- @EA_Jesse please explain to us the difference (from TOS point of view) between extra Vader shards and extra Han Solo shards gained by clever using of game mechanics. Guild hopping clearly allows to receive more raid gear/credits/Han Solo shards than it was designed and intended.
- I sense this will close soon...
- @ Naecobon
I hope your proposal doesn't get lost in a merged thread. It's a solid solution, not perfect, but it is the best I've seen so far, and is infinitely better than an extended cooldown on guild hopping.
I can't understand why devs haven't taken swift and drastic actions against alt factory and guild hopping. They're losing revenue two-fold:
1/ people who do 60+ raids don't need to buy much from shipments or spend money on the game. They get game's ultimate rewards for FREE!
2/ whales who've spent a mini-fortune on the game and now find themselves behind the guild hoppers, are quitting the game or turning into F2P en-masse (myself included).
