Because they're going to keep running "FOMO" events until everyone jumps in and buys whatever character they release in order to do events. You can complain all you want, it just makes them more money the next time.

It would be really nice to say I'm going to quit because of something like this, but they also know that's probably not happening either. Just so lame that they don't care that hard.
