Yearly arena shard reset.

Fleet meta is old and dry. Everyone has had time to get Leviathan. It comes down to how active or dormant your shard is. In fact, coming back to an older shard probably has a higher chance of the fleet shard having more dormant, old accounts whose owners have stopped playing. 

Executor can beat R10 Leviathans, so you don't even need Leviathan. Profundity will hard stop Executors, but then Profundity can't beat Leviathan, and Leviathan beats everything on offense. Briefly put, if you have one of the three meta fleets, you should be able to find your way into top 50 or higher. Whichever one you have, there will be something you can beat.

Zanir2, i can see why you disagree but i think you should consider looking at it from all perspectives, not just jump to light insults. A solution to that could be that you could opt in or out (even tho that might raise other big questions) but please just be more respectful.

I totally agree and i shouldve been more clear, what i preposed is that you get reshuffled into a new shard with players roughly your level/GP not a complete reshuffle which would obviously be a massive mistake. My appologies

My fleet shard is very chill so take your proposal right to the garbage dump, OP. How fortunate we are that CG doesn't read these forums. Otherwise they might look at tremendously stupid ideas like this one and consider implementing them. 

Well ... It doesn't work that way. When you start your account, you'll be assigned to a newer shard where you can climb all the way to the top if you put effort into it, the shard does not change, there is no reshuffle. Those players who you are complaining about, didn't stop playing the game and worked on their fleet, same for squad arena which will soon be removed from the game, so keep working on your fleet or you can restart your account, you don't have any other choices here. 

Hard no from me on your proposal.  For everyone helped by the reshuffle, there’ll be just as many shafted by it. Imagine a 6 month player who has worked hard to be top of their fleet shard suddenly being dropped into a shard with dozens of 10 year players?

Handling returning accounts differently is something I could get behind, but a complete shard reshuffle is using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
