Zeta Drop Rate
I've done 8 ship ability challenges now with 0 Zetas. I would like to know if others are experiencing the same horrible "RNG" and/or having success?

HOLY FUDGE. Im pouring my fleet shipment currency to getting dark side ships to do the challenges not knowing the drop rates are bad.
So should I just save up and buy zetas from the shipments?

Well, as we have all learned, RNG isn't set. It changes up and down over time. It's not like playing cards at home. Programmers can and do change calibrations.

If i lose a ship, i am almost guaranteed to get no zetas
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is just another false superstition. RNG is random for a reason, there aren't (or shouldn't) be any patterns. You don't get less credits from credit heist if you lose a scoundrel, no?
Both times I did the zeta challenge (and got the max reward of 2 zetas each time) I 2*ed it, losing just my tank Biggs because he was taunting. I'm not saying that to get another superstition going, I'm saying that to counter your point.

They rig it to get the most money. They had good drop rates in the beginning for those that paid thousands on ships and now that the general public has begun unlocking the challenge, they have dropped the threshold so that we don't get as many.
Nobody there will admit that I'm right, but we all know that's what's going on.

RNG does not stand for Random Number Generator in this game. All the people I know have this same issue with all the drop rates. RNG actually stands for Rigged Number Generator. This game is run like a slot machine and if the casino has taught us anything, it's that the house always wins.
