We are at week 17 and Disguised Clone will bring the total number of zetas up to 20 for 2025. While the intake of zetas has been relatively constant, we have seen a much faster cadence of marquee units along with most marquees now requiring two zetas - Omega Scavenger even requires three. We had a total of 17 marquees in 2024 with 11 having a single zeta and only 6 with two zetas.
Almost as if this a resource management game....
Anyway, we are in week 19 of 2025 (not week 17) and most players will attain a zeta a week so this release cadence clearly isnt an issue. Of course players may need to zeta more than the new characters but this is where resource management comes in, choices have to be made and not every single zeta is essential.
Its not down to CG to give us zeta income equal to or more than the pace of new character releases, its down to the player to manage this.
