Zeta Mate: reduce attempt, but 100% drop rate

50% drop rate is the worse drop rate as it has maximum variance among all probabilities.
'
This is seriously annyoing as I am 0/12 attempts...

Drop rates are the same for everyone, so it is fair. Yes the rng sucks with something so important.

The challenge is not meant to be used to farm, it's there to supplement. Your main source for zetas is the ship store.

They created a situation where situation where RNG has more importance than it should. If you had 1/5 drop rate but 5 attempts, it would create more homogeneous situation. (The variance is decreased by a factor of 6).

I agree with you about the farming strategy, but I find it **** to switch regime compared to the other ability mats where the situation is reversed (main source is challenge).

The problem with a drop situation like that is then they need to collect and adjust drops per person/pull. I'm not saying that can't do that just that it's a major change from a single droprates calculation.

If they implemented it correctly it is quite easy to adjust drop rate and attempts...

But to do it for each person playing, individually is no simple task. I agree it would be a better system
  • They need to cut the drop rate by a third and give us 3 times as many attempts to even out the distribution faster.
  • Does anyone know the actual drop rates of zetas?

I am not asking for more ways to get Zetas, just make it fair for everyone: I unlocked Zeta at the same time as someone, but he gets 80% drop rate and I get 10% effective. I don't care about long term as we will all be dead over the long term, I just say it is a uncouncsoius move to make a needed resources completely random.

Since everyone has the same chance as you do it is fair. Stop saying things are unfair if you really have no clue what it means..
And yes I'm 4/20 underway with my second zeta and haven't seen a new one in 2 weeks. Fair.. the most overrated word in this game of 2017.

    In a way I agree.

On the other hand, I am not asking for a solution that would make other players worse, but a solution that would profit everyone and with this regard I think what I proposed is "fairer".

This does not really make sense, if everyone has the same chance of getting the drop, it is already fair. What you proposed is no different from having the same chances of rolling to get something. It seems like you just want a guaranteed drop because you are on the short end of the stick which is what is 'unfair'.

Regardless, I do hope they implement a way to get more zetas as with what they did with omegas.

You should consider buying zeta mats from the shipment stores to help get them faster (if you aren't already).

CapGasp has said they might work on a zeta event but too much going on right now. So for what it's worth it is a possibility....

Ok, I have 5 mod sets with at least +110 speed. Do I find it fair that I got them? No. I did spent probably more resources than most complainers, because mod is a matter of choice and resources allocation and dedication.

Zeta challenge is pure lottery. There is no skill set or choice involved in them, that is why I find it unfair. You do the same thing as someone else and got results that are too different.
