They’ve actually done a terrific job lately of creating characters that don’t require speed. The new scoundrels are a perfect example.
The problem is these debuffs that can’t be dispelled/prevented. Fracture and isolate are terrible for the game IMO. Even cooldown reductions. You have to be faster to try and prevent them, because you can’t do anything about them once they are up. And Traya dispels everything, so other than another fracture/isolate/cooldown reduction, you can’t prevent Traya or Nihilus from getting them off. So it’s become all about having the fastest Thrawn/Nihilus/Traya. If you have that, you can neutralize anything. It doesn’t matter if the opponent can hit twice as hard or absorb twice as much damage, as they won’t even get a turn.
